The Beauty Of God's Mercy

The Lord replied, "I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will call out my name, 'the Lord,' to you. I will show kindness to anyone I choose, and I will show mercy to anyone I choose." Exodus 33:19

He passed in front of Moses and said, "I am the Lord, I am the Lord, the merciful and gracious God. I am slow to anger and rich in unfailing love and faithfulness." Exodus 34:6

"For the Lord your God is merciful—he will not abandon you or destroy you or forget the solemn covenant he made with your ancestors." Deuteronomy 4:31

"Whenever the Lord placed a judge over Israel, he was with that judge and rescued the people from their enemies throughout the judge's lifetime. For the Lord took pity on his people, who were burdened by oppression and suffering." Judges 2:18

"He prayed, 'O Lord, God of Israel, there is no God like you in all of heaven or earth. You keep your promises and show unfailing love to all who obey you and are eager to do your will.' " 1 Kings 8:23
