Sam Wylie grew up in Mayfield, Kentucky and was graduated from Mayfield High School. He received degrees from David Lipscomb College and Murray State. He began working with the Skyline church in 1982.He and his wife, Beverly, have two children. Stefanie and her husband, Andy Stites, live in Cookeville, Tennessee. Matthew is a sophomore at Jackson State Community College majoring in General Studies.
